Michael has been a trustee of occupational pension schemes over the last 30 years.During that time he has been a Director of various trustee companies and has therefore been involved in the management of those businesses. This has included chairing meetings and on other occasions taking and producing minutes of meetings.
He has worked on a wide variety of cases ranging from one that has gone through PPF assessment, DB schemes being wound up on a full buy out basis, a DC scheme being wound up and DB schemes that are open as well as those that are closed to new members.
Over the years a wide variety of different issues have been encountered. Involvement with the relevant authorities such as the Pensions Regulator has featured from time to time. He has also built up a network of connections that can be called upon for support or for inclusion where adviser reviews are being undertaken.

Prior to setting up his own consultancy in 2001, David spent 25 years in commercial and investment banking with HSBC and Deutsche Bank, specializing in relationship management and venture capital .His activities now embrace managing strategic change and implementation risk, raising business finance, and mentoring existing and aspiring entrepreneurs.
